I was given a plaster of paris skull from my niece the other week, after she went to an art fair (she has a mini one that she decorated at the show). It was unpainted and I didn’t really know what to do with it so it had been sitting on my desk for over a week.
I have no idea where the inspiration came from but I thought I should paint it gold. I knew I didn’t have any gold spray paint so I had a look through my paints and found a small bottle of gold paint. Yay!
Because the plaster was unsealed the paint dried very quickly so by the time I had finished the first coat I was able to add a second coat.
Luckily it already had a hook on the back so I popped it up on the wall above my desk. I love it!
